2025 Handicap Formula:
The 2025 TIB Handicap Formula has been reformulated: 50% Low GHIN Index past 12 months ending June 21, 2025, 35% 06-21-25 GHIN Index, and 25% the average of the 4 lowest score (of the past 20) differentials - with adjustments made to zero out the plus handicap(s) in the group. Going forward - not including the practice round, each round of the tournament the top 2 and bottom 2 (including ties) net scores will get a 1 stroke adjustment for future rounds.
TIB and The BIM reserve the right to “manually” adjust a players’ handicap (in either direction). TIB Cup Handicaps have been maxed at 15 for this year.
Four-Ball Matches: Hdcp differential between teammates greater than 10 strokes will lead to loss of 10% of Course Handicap for both players on the 2-man team. Singles Matches: Hdcp differential between opponents greater than 10 strokes will lead to loss of 10% of Course Handicap for the higher handicap player. These differentials refer to the TIB Cup Handicaps at the start of the tournament.
