Handicaps are Locked (07.15.2026)

2026 Handicap Formula:

The 2026 TIB Handicap Formula has been reformulated: 34% Low GHIN Index past 12 months ending July 15, 2026, 33% 07-15-26 GHIN Index, and 33% the average of the 4 lowest score (of the past 20) differentials - with adjustments made to zero out the plus handicap(s) in the group.  Going forward - not including the practice round, each round of the tournament the top 2 and bottom 2 (including ties) net scores will get a 1 stroke adjustment for future rounds.

TIB and The BIM reserve the right to “manually” adjust a players’ handicap (in either direction). TIB Cup Handicaps have been maxed at 15 for this year.

Four-Ball Matches: Hdcp differential between teammates greater than 10 strokes will lead to loss of 10% of Course Handicap for both players on the 2-man team. Singles Matches: Hdcp differential between opponents greater than 8 strokes will lead to loss of 10% of Course Handicap for the higher handicap player. These differentials refer to the playing handicap of the player after tee box adjustments have been made.
